TDAFA

Tyre Dealers’ and Fitment Centre Association

The TDAFA represents more than 700 members in the fitment industry throughout the country.

TDAFA also represents the leading tyre retreaders in South Africa in strict compliance with the TDAFA’s accreditation criteria and applicable legislation ensures the production of good quality and safe retreaded tyres.

TDAFA draws your attention to refrain from conducting business with unscrupulous hawkers trading on the roadside as these hawkers in the main sell badly worn passenger tyres of which have been illegally re-grooved to give an appearance of sufficient tread depth whereas, re-grooving cuts into the carcass of a passenger tyre converting it into a death trap, which practice is illegal.

In the interests of your own safety and that of your family, look for an RMI accredited tyre dealer and fitment centre to ensure that you acquire the best product and service money can buy.
TDAFA members in addition to selling tyres, offer professional wheel alignment, balancing, puncture repair and other tyre related services such as mag wheel sales and repairs. Some TDAFA members also does suspension repairs, shock absorber, tow-bar, exhaust fitment and battery replacements.

The TDAFA supports the local manufacturers and well known imported tyre brands, so remember that the tyres on your vehicle is the only contact between you and the road — don’t risk being unsafe! You cannot afford to do anything else but settle for the best!
