Closure of RMI offices effective from 1 July 2021

Rmiblock

President Ramaphosa announced that the country will move to an adjusted Alert Level 4 from 28 June 2021, for a period of 14 days, in a move to try slow down and reduce the high rate of Covid-19 inflections throughout the country.

You are hereby advised that in an effort to help reduce and contain the spread of the virus in the workplace the RMI Executive Management, in-conjunction with the RMI President and Vice President, has decided that the RMI will be closing its physical offices from 01 July 2021 to 12 July 2021 (both dates included) in line with the request by Government to allow employees who can work from home to do so.

Since the initial hard lockdown back in March 2020 the majority of the RMI’s operational staff have been working remotely and therefore the current decision to close the RMI’s physical offices for the period mentioned herein should in no way impact service delivery to you our valued members.

The RMI’s operational staff will be available to attend to calls, emails, WhatsApp- and Telegram messages and any general or specific queries from members.

All contact details for the RMI offices and staff remain the same during this period.

We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Please take care and stay safe.
