On 14 February 2022, a notice was gazetted in terms of which the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs extended the national state of disaster from 15 February 2022 until 15 March 2022.
The extension of the national state of disaster also extends the applicability of any other regulations published under the Disaster Management Act. Consequently, the amended Adjusted Alert Level 1 COVID-19 Regulations circulated on 1 February 2022 (below), remains in force.
