Serving on the RMI Board of Directors for 2024 are individuals who were elected by the RMI’s Labour Executive Committee, the RMI’s regional and national constituent association’s committee structures, together with non-executive directors appointed from the broader business community. Jeánne Esterhuizen continues as a Non- Executive Director and RMI President while Jakkie Olivier takes up the position of Non-Executive Director after stepping down as CEO at the end of 2023.
With a new Co-CEO leadership structure effective 1 January 2024, Ipeleng Mabusela, took up the role of CEO: Strategy and Corporate Support and Jan Schoeman took up the role of CEO: Operations & Regulatory Compliance. The two newly established executive positions will hold equal stature and accountability. The strategic objectives of the RMI will continue to be actively driven by the RMI
Board of Directors together with the RMI’s Senior Executives for the ultimate benefit of all members.
