Valuable information for your benefit – attend the 2018 RMI Roadshow

The first leg of the RMI roadshow took place last week. Members of the Eastern Cape towns and districts of George, East London, Queenstown and Mthata attended.
RMI General Manager for the Coastal region with the involvement of the RMI COO, the Training Director, Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) and Indwe Risk Services for the RMI4Sure short term business insurance offering, shared actual and factual information about RMI current affairs and benefits with members.
The roadshow events stem from a board decision and seek to create an opportunity for members who very often find it challenging to attend member events in main centres in SA, to partake in member-interactive sessions that are packed with valuable information for members’ benefit.
At each of the venues on the Eastern Cape leg more members attended than who confirmed with the office – a very nice challenge to deal with on the day. The attendance recorded was as follow: in George 45; in East London 54; in Queenstown 33 and 21 in Mthata.
Training in the retail motor industry forms part of the RMI roadshow agenda and valuable information on the benefits of accredited training and the Return On Investment calculator with regards to the employment of apprentices will be shared with members.
Skills development and training is a strategic objective of the RMI and through initiatives such as the 2018 RMI roadshows members benefit from not only the presentations, but the network opportunities and exchange of information.
The RMI will be conducting a national Road Show starting on the 10th of July 2018 in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Region.
Tea / Coffee and a finger lunch will be served.
