RMI Northern Region Has A Ball

The RMI’s Northern Region held its first charity event recently, which will likely become an annual affair after the success thereof.
Involvement is one of the RMI’s core principals, having been engaged to the motor industry in South Africa for the past 103 years. This motivated the RMI’s Northern Region to partner with the Lekelele Bonke Foundation and the Help-Net Fund to host a “Night of the Stars” event. It was a red carpet occasion with guests treated like Hollywood stars with limousines, fancy lights, cameras and a line-up of great entertainment.
Actress Donna-Lee Roberts was Master of Ceremony, while entertainers in the form of Con Grazia set the tone with some appropriate classical excellence. This was followed by Jay (ex Eden) with a passionate performance of some of his greatest songs. Dusty Dixon took guests into a party atmosphere and kept them going to the end of the evening, which was considered a great success by all.
Everybody involved, from quests to entertainers, as well as those who assisted in making the event possible, felt a deep sense of satisfaction as all proceeds from the evening went to “The Safe House” project for children driven by the Help-Net Fund.
