MIWA is collaborating with HTS Drostdy for the first-ever Motor Mech Show in the Western Cape! HTS Drostdy is the only fully-fledged technical high school in the Boland.
Motor Mech events create awareness of the motor industry as a whole, demonstrating how passionate our industry is about training and quality-graded workshops. We are serious about fostering future careers in the automotive industry.
What can you expect on the day?
• Top Mechanical Technology Automotive students from HTS Drostdy will compete for the title of Junior Motor Mech 2024
• MIWA workshops showcasing their offerings
• Car displays from dealers and local clubs
• Motor industry suppliers will showcase their products
• Lucky draws
• A hospitality arena and a children’s area
If you would like to exhibit, please find below and attached all the relevant information, including the booking form for Exhibitors (i.e. motor dealerships, car/bike displays (new & vintage), as well as all motor related vendors (vendors such as die-cast cars (Dinky Toys), wire or wood car displays, motor industry clothing and apparel, craft vendors or a barrel train are also all are welcome).
The School’s banking details are also attached. If you wish to pay without an invoice, you can use “Motor Mech” and the stand name as a reference.

We also request a prize (or prizes😊) for either our lucky draw or the Junior Motor Mech competition (not cash) – refer attached sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors will also be promoted on the day via roaming mic, the event will also be promoted on all MIWA’s socials and local radio.
