The RMI launches the Transformation survey link

Rmiblock

The RMI launched its first Transformation survey link on 22 September 2021.

Over the past few years the RMI years has been unable to provide a measure of transformation of its membership. This became a challenge as this information was requested whenever the RMI was engaging with various stakeholders, including government.  In this day and age, we are all aware that proper research and statistics play an important role in reaching certain outcomes, and one cannot plan for the future when we do not know what the present looks like.

By understanding the demographic composition pertaining to race and gender of its membership base, the RMI will be in a better position to plan and implement transformation initiatives that will advance some of the current initiatives it is involved in. It can also plan to engage in new initiatives that will promote the transformation agenda.

A unique link has been sent to all RMI members. The link contains each member’s details, not only to allow members to complete the Transformation survey, but also provides a good opportunity for members to update their current information on the RMI database. It is very important that the RMI has a relevant and updated email address for each member to enable members to receive information crucial to the functioning of their businesses.

We request all members to check whether they have received the link, and to complete the survey. If a link was not received, this means that we have your incorrect email address and in this instance,  please contact the RMI head office on 0118866300 or email noni.tshabalala@rmi.org.za

We urge all our members to embrace this process, as the RMI supports the transformational intent of broad-based black economic empowerment (“B-BBEE”), Employment Equity and Skills Development legislation and encourages all its members to become fully compliant.
